Field of Heroes, sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Rotary Club of Westerville Sunrise. Residents can purchase a flag and display it as part of a display of 1,500 American flags at the Westerville Sports Complex during Memorial Day weekend. Order flags at www.fieldofheroes.org.

Registration for summer classes has started. Register in person at the Westerville Community Center or online at www.westerville.org. Brochures are available at the Westerville Community Center, City Hall, Westerville Public Library, Westerville Senior Center, Westerville Chamber of Commerce, Westerville Recreation Center and Westerville Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Kite Workshop for ages 6-18 will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 17, 24 or 31. Learn the history of the kite and make your own to take home. Cost is $5 for residents; $10 for non-residents.

Computer Maintenance for Adults is a series of classes on a variety of topics to be held Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost per class is $10 for residents; $15 for non-residents. Classes include Software Installation, May 27; Tune Up Techniques, June 3; E-mail, June 10; or Wireless, June 17.

Teen Scene, a drop-in gaming program for teens, is open from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Community Center. It is open to students with the purchase of a $5 Resident Card or a $7.50 Non-Resident Card. Students can play Wii games, Guitar Hero, pool, foosball and more. Call Darcy Baxter at (614) 901-6543.
