Limited Brands Inc. has appointed Brian Wessels as director of global regulatory affairs for Beauty Avenue, the sourcing arm for the company's personal care products.

Limited Brands Inc. has appointed Brian Wessels as director of global regulatory affairs for Beauty Avenue, the sourcing arm for the company's personal care products.

Wessels, a Westerville resident, earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science and communication from Purdue University.

He served as regulatory director at GOJO Industries Inc. before joining Limited Brands.

Sam Chapman, a Farmers Insurance agent in Westerville, recently was inducted into the Topper Club and invited to attend the 2009 annual meeting of the company's top sales producers.

Chapman was recognized for outstanding sales achievements in 2008.

Leadership Westerville is accepting applications for the 2009-2010 program year.

The nine-month program is offered in partnership with the city of Westerville, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, Westerville City Schools, the Westerville Public Library and Otterbein College.

The year begins with an overnight orientation retreat on Sept. 10-11. Class sessions are held one day a month at various community locations from October to May. Topics include transformational leadership, Westerville past and present, group dynamics, effective communication, servant leadership, business and community services, education and emotional intelligence.
