On Feb. 22, 2004, our son, Paul Price, a 2000 graduate of Westerville South, was taken from us by a random act of violence. Since that time, a group of very compassionate and dedicated friends have worked very hard to keep his memory alive.

The Paul Price Memorial Fund was created in March 2004 with the goal of funding a 2,400-square-foot addition to the athletic training facility at WSHS. On Sept. 13, 2009, the sixth Paul Price Memorial Golf Outing was held at The Links at Echo Springs and over $175,000 has now been raised to fund the building project.

The completion of this project will benefit every athlete, physical education student, coach and teacher at WSHS.

Our family cannot begin to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who assisted and contributed to the successful completion of this project. We will encourage everyone to visit www.paulpricememorial.com for an artist's rendition of this project facility.

As the family of Paul, we wish to express our appreciation to the entire Westerville community. We have been overwhelmed by the generous support demonstrated by so many over the past five years. Paul will continue to make a positive impact even after he is gone

We are grateful for the time we had with Paul and we are better people for having known and loved him.
