• Crochet in the Conference Room, for ages 7 to adult, on Thursday, Sept. 30. Beginners can learn the basics from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Guided practiced and new stitch techniques will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Go online for a complete supply list. Registration is required.

• Students ages 12 to 18 can watch the movie "Iron Man 2" (rated PG-13) from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, in Meeting Room A. Bring snacks and friends.

• Learning chess, for children ages 6 and older, 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2. Classes taught by coaches of the Delaware Youth Chess Club. Instruction will be available at all experience levels. Registration required.

• "Firefly Tales" will feature stories, songs, rhythms and fun for the entire family from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, in the Activity Center.

• Meg Barkhymer, director of the Center for Career Planning at Otterbein College, will present ways to construct and enhance a résumé and strategies for a successful job search and interview. The program is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, in Meeting Room A. Registration required.

• Anthropologist Jennie Smith-Pariola will share an overview of Haiti and its people through slides, authentic artwork and traditional music from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Meeting Room.
