The Ohio Department of Education's Office for Exceptional Children will conduct an onsite review of Westerville City Schools' special-education program.

The Ohio Department of Education's Office for Exceptional Children will conduct an onsite review of Westerville City Schools' special-education program.

As part of that review, the Office for Exceptional Children is seeking comments from parents and guardians of children in the program and from members of the public within the Westerville City School District.

A public meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, in the media center at Heritage Middle School, 390 N. Spring Road. During that meeting, residents will be able to provide testimony to representatives from the Office for Exceptional Children.

Those who are unable to attend the meeting may provide written comments to the office. Written-comment forms will be available at the meeting or by mail from Dolores Fantroy, Office for Exceptional Children, Ohio Department of Education, 25 S. Front St., MS 202, Columbus, 43215-4183, or through an e-mail request sent to Dolores.Frantroy@ode.state.oh.us.

Written comments must be received by 5 p.m. Feb. 4.
