Westerville police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed three local gas stations earlier this month.

Westerville police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed three local gas stations earlier this month.

According to police, the same man robbed the Certified gas station at 5323 Westerville Road at about 8 a.m. Jan. 1, the Certified gas station at 131 S. Sunbury Road around 12:35 p.m. Jan. 2 and the Duke & Duchess station at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 4.

The man is white, in his mid-20s and has an average build. He was wearing a knit hat with a New York Yankees emblem and a Carhartt jacket during all three robberies, police said.

He may also have been driving an older model, full-sized green van.
