The Capital University Big Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church as part of the "A Joyful Noise! The Grace Lutheran Community Concerts" series.

The band is under the direction of Dr. Lou Fischer. The ensemble is an 18-piece, award-winning jazz ensemble that performs both standard/traditional and contemporary repertoire. It appears in concert often, on and off campus, and at various regional, national and international festivals.

There is no admission charge; a freewill offering will be taken.

A reception for the audience and performers will follow.

Collegians Chorale, a choral ensemble from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, will perform at Westerville Church of the Nazarene at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 10.

This event is free and open to the public.

This select 60-voice choir presents music for praise, worship and testimony through gospel arrangements, sacred classics, spirituals, hymns and contemporary Christian songs.

A freewill offering will be taken.
