• Test an eReader at the Adult Services desk on the second floor. An iPad, iPod Touch, Nook, Kindle and a Sony Reader Daily edition are available for demonstration. Call extension 5004 for more details.

• Escape to the past and experience the history of the Underground Railroad during Freedom Trail, Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Participants will “steal” away into the night and meet conductors and abolitionists during this interactive living history performance. The event will be held at Heritage Park, 60 N. Cleveland Ave. Tickets are $10 and are available by calling Westerville Parks and Recreation at (614) 901-6500.

• The Westerville Green Living Fair will feature local resources on making environmentally friendly choices. Stop by the library to chat with owners of local businesses, sample food and learn about products that encourage sustainability. The event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

• Registration opens Oct. 5 for Fall II Storytimes and Move with Music for a variety of age groups. Registration is required.
