PNC Bank, 5939 Sunbury Road, was robbed at 9:40 a.m. July 18.

According to Blendon Township police, an unknown man entered the bank and handed a note to one of the bank's tellers demanding money be placed inside a bag.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man was described by police as white, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing between 215 and 230 pounds. He was estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, reports said.

The man was wearing a white, button-down shirt, dark pants and a dark hat. He had a spider-web tattoo on the right side of his neck, police said.

Jewelry was stolen from an unoccupied residence in the 1200 block of Whitney Lane between 11:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. July 16. Police believe a burglar entered through an unlocked window, according to reports.

A car parked in a driveway in the 5400 block of Woodvale Court was stolen July 16.

A bicyclist was arrested and charged with OVI by Westerville police at 12:45 a.m. July 17. The 49-year-old man was stopped after police noticed he was not riding his bike in a straight line and ran a red light.

A Westerville woman was sexually assaulted in a residence near the Otterbein University campus at about 4 a.m. July 19. According to Westerville police, an unknown man entered the residence while the victim and other occupants slept. He fled before police arrived.

A 26-year-old man was injured and transported to Mount Carmel St. Ann's after his bicycle was struck by a vehicle on Huber Village Boulevard at 11 p.m. July 19.
