The Franklin County DUI Task Force, including the Westerville Division of Police and Franklin County Sheriff's Office, conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Cleveland Avenue south of County Line Road from 9 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17-18.

Results as announced by the task force are as followed:

Total vehicles through the checkpoint: 655

Total vehicles checked: 423

Total vehicles diverted: 34

DUI arrests made: 2

Total citations issued: 21

Open container citations: 1

Misdemeanor drug arrests: 9

Traffic warnings: 5

Vehicles impounded: 5
