Concert Band performance highlights a busy month

The Westerville Concert Band, under the direction of Richard Suddendorf, will present its annual Fall Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Westerville Central High School, 7118 Mount Royal Ave. The dynamic and diverse program will include:

Handel's Overture to Royal Fireworks Music;

Through Peaceful Eyes, by Ryan Nowlin;

Puszta (Four Gypsy Dances), by Jan Van der Roost;

Mannin Veen by Haydn Wood;

Chorale and Shaker Dance, by John P. Zdechlik;

William Latham's Brighton Beach March;

Selections from Les Miserables, by Schonberg; and

American Barndance by Richard Saucedo.

Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. Groups are welcome. For more information, visit their website at westervillebands.org or call Ralph Denick at 882-9071.
