Woman runs vehicle into house

Westerville police said a 31-year-old woman was cited for failure to control her vehicle after she ran a stop sign and struck a house at 4:35 p.m. Nov. 21.

According to Westerville police reports, the woman was driving west on Eastwood Avenue when she failed to stop at a stop sign and drove straight through the front yard of a residence and into a house. No one in the home was injured, but the woman, who said she fell unconscious before the accident, was transported to Mount Carmel St. Ann's because she was confused about where she was and what happened.

There were two passengers in the car, but they were unharmed.
