Genoa man arrested for drug, gun possession
A Genoa Township man was indicted March 1 on drug possession and trafficking, and gun possession charges following an incident at his Genoa Township home Dec. 28.
Robert B. Williamson was indicted on five felony counts related to the incident.
According to Genoa Township police, officers reported to Williamson's house on Hilmar Drive Dec. 28 to serve him with a warrant for missing a court date in another case.
As they took him into custody, officers found a loaded handgun on Williamson's person and noticed narcotic laying on his kitchen table.
Officers seized 90.7 grams of methamphetamine, 707.1 grams of marijuana, 0.1 gram of LSD and 9 Oxycodone tablets, Genoa Township police said.
Williamson was indicted with a first-degree felony for trafficking methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school with firearm specification, a fourth-degree felony for cultivation of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school with firearm specification, a fifth-degree felony for possession of methamphetamine with firearm specification, a fifth-degree felony for possession of Oxycodone with firearm specification and fifth-degree felony for possession of LSD with firearm specification.
Williamson's house at 6358 Hilmar Drive is located near Westerville Central High School and Alcott Elementary School.
