Genoa Township police catch burglar in the act


Genoa Township police, responding to a home security alarm, caught a suspected burglar in the act.

Police were called to a residence in the 4700 block of St. Andrews Drive about 8 a.m. today (March 28). They discovered that entry had been forced into the home, and a man was found inside.

Police arrested Tyson Kustick, of Columbus, on burglary charges.

According to a press release from Genoa Township police, Kustick attempted to flee and police Tasered him.

He was taken to the Delaware County Jail and charged with second-degree felony burglary and fifth-degree felony vandalism.

Police did not find any other suspects.
