Otterbein University will host author and Holocaust survivor Dr. Anna Ornstein for a lecture at 4 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Philomathean Room of Towers Hall, 1 S. Grove St.

The event is free and open to the public.

Ornstein is the author of My Mother's Eyes: Holocaust Memories of a Young Girl. This book recounts her memories of the Nazi occupation of Hungary in 1944 while she and her mother were among hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews to be taken to Auschwitz.

Ornstein is a graduate of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis and currently a psychoanalyst and emerita professor of child psychology at the University of Cincinnati. She is also a training and supervising analyst at the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute, as well as the supervising analyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
