Wandrey back in town for book signings

Longtime Westerville businesswoman Earlene Wandrey will be back in town signing copies of her new book over the next several days.

Wandrey, former owner of Deja Vu and King Shoes in Uptown, will host signings of her book Walk in My Shoes, an autobiographical tale of her life starting in the Mississippi delta, through an interracial marriage, into the male dominated shoe business and her journey of cancer all the while following her walk of faith.

Wandrey and her husband, Max Whitaker, were married in February 2012 and became residents of the Lake Norman area of Mooresville, N.C.

The book signings are set for:

* 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, on the second floor of the Old Bag Of Nails Pub, 24 N. State St.

* 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Deja Vu-Gallery 202, 111/2 N. State St., 2nd floor.

* 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at Grace Lutheran Church, 100 E. Schrock Road, in the first floor hospitality room; reception following on the second floor.

* 5-9 p.m. Monday, May 6 at the Westerville Public Library, 126 S. State St., Meeting Room A.
