Educator trained in 'Quality Matters'

ITSCO and ESCCO have partnered for a grant offered by the state technology agency, eTech, to bring Quality Matters (QM) training to Ohio.

Stephanie M. Donofe, district coordinator for instructional technology at Westerville City Schools, was invited to be part of the first cohort from Central Ohio trained to facilitate for Quality Matters. She also is part of a team that will conduct peer reviews for online courses. She completed 45 hours of training and course work to become a QM facilitator and peer reviewer.

In June she will teach the first course in the series, applying the Grades 6 -12 Quality Matters Rubric to Central Ohio educators, including 14 Westerville teachers.
