Ladies, bust out your cocktail dresses and pearls.

Ladies, bust out your cocktail dresses and pearls.

Fellas grab your fedoras and shine your shoes, because the 27th Annual Evening of Elegance has been inspired by one of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack's most iconic songs.

This year's theme, "Fly Me to the Moon," is guaranteed to be stylish, entertaining and quite a gas.

If there's one person who can outdo a Jay Gatsby party from last year it is sure to be Ol' Blue Eyes and friends. So get ready for a toe tapping, glass tipping evening out that will be sure to excite as much as last year's event.

The Evening of Elegance will be hosted at Villa Milano, 1630 Schrock Road, on Nov. 15, and is open to Chamber members and the community to attend. The cost is $65 a ticket or $700 for a table of 10 that includes two bottles of wine and a table sign.

"Coming to the Evening of Elegance is a great way to connect with people you do business with while spending time with the 'movers and shakers' of the Westerville community while getting acquainted with new friends at a fun and engaging event," said Jean Halpin, committee chairwoman and chief operating officer at OhioHealth.

In years past the classy Chamber sponsored event has ranged between 275 and 350 people. The evening will include appetizers and cocktails, a delicious three course dinner and a live.

"My hope for this year's event is to continue to celebrate the 45th anniversary year," Halpin said.

The Evening of Elegance is the largest fundraiser for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and proceeds benefit the chamber's daily operations, events and the chamber foundation.

Thanks to the community and members of the chamber, there are a wide variety of items that participants can bid on.

In the live and silent auction you can expect to see a wonderful variety of items from categories such as sports, entertainment, fine jewelry, holiday decor, tools, electronics, health and beauty, fitness, travel and hotel certificates, and much more.

In years past, the live auction has had roughly a dozen packages ranging from a year's lease on a car from Roush Honda, getaway vacations in the U.S. and abroad and so much more.

The silent auction consists of 140 packages for local restaurants to new adventures for you and your beau and/or friends. There's no telling what a Sinatra inspired event could bring.

Aside from the auctions there will also be the always exciting chocolate candy raffle again this year. Sponsored by Chocolaterie Stam, guests will have the chance to purchase a bag of delicious chocolates for the chance to win beautiful custom jewelry from a local jeweler.

Donation and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Businesses, individuals and organizations are encouraged to contact the chamber if they are interested in participating in this unique promotional opportunity.

Businesses that donate or sponsor are featured on flyers and marketing materials leading up to the event, as well as signage at the event. It's a great way to gain exposure in the Westerville business community.
