September features arts all over Westerville
Sip & Sketch returns to Meza
The Arts Council of Westerville Inc. and Meza are pleased to offer a series of Sip & Sketch classes which include a monthly wine tasting and an informal art lesson in a variety of media instructed by local area artists and art teachers. Each class is completely unique -- exploring different mediums and art forms. No previous experience necessary, just come ready to let your creativity flow!
For a $15 fee you will sample five wines and nibble on appetizers as you create your own individual masterpiece! It's a great opportunity to learn about wine and art while socializing with old and new friends.
Dr. Jan Fedorenko, mixed media artist and principal of Hanby Magnet School will lead an "Impressive Images" session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 3.
The session will incorporate the use of acrylics and layered mediums to create an impressionistic view of fall. Focus on nature and fall colors will contribute to the creation of a completed acrylic painting at the end of the session.
Advance registration is required. Contact Meza at 614-259-3101 or by email at email@example.com.
