Members of Lima Company run under the American Flag hanging from the ladder truck during the Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes 5k Run which began and ended at Westerville’s Alum Creek Park on West Main Street Saturday, Sept. 7. The day began with a 9/11 tribute followed by the run. Among the tributes at the event was a display of the “Eyes of Freedom” exhibit, which honors members of Lima Company who died in the Iraq War. Proceeds from the race went to the Travis Manion Foundation and the Westerville Fire Fighters Memorial Scholarship Fund.
