Phi Sigma Theta announced that Nicholas Conley, son of Melinda Conley of Columbus, has recently become a member of Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society at Ohio State University.

Phi Sigma Theta is a national honor society dedicated to recognizing and rewarding academic achievement in undergraduates at institutions of higher learning.
Conley is a 2011 graduate of Westerville South High School.
* Heather Meek of Westerville graduated from Belmont University with a bachelor's degree in entertainment industry studies on May 4, during the school's spring commencement ceremony.
Meek, a 2009 Westerville North High School graduate, plans to seek employment in the music business in Nashville, Tenn.
* Columbus State Community College recently recognized students who were named to its 2013 summer dean's list.

To be named to the dean's list, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled for six or more credit hours.
