Candace Mazur-Darman has had a dramatic impact on the lives of thousands of children in Central Ohio.

Candace believes that drama is a part of everyone's life either as an actor or as part of the audience. She fills her life with bringing youthful performers to the forefront throughout the central Ohio area through residencies at Hanby Elementary School; teaching an Energizing Education course at Otterbein University, which is designed to help teachers bring innovative and imaginative drama activities to the classroom, providing dramatic entertainment at the Columbus Arts Festival and Westerville Music & Arts Festival and her interactive drama camps held in various communities throughout the summer.

Candace's company Dramatic Impact is a one-woman production and when she's on the scene she's easy to spot, from the red hair to the black and white stripped socks she makes an impact. She has a special ability to draw out the best in each of her young performers. Her job is not about acting but building the character of her students. Candace is always engaging children to own stores stories through dramatic action.

On Dec. 14 Candace's version of The Grinch will take the stage at the Recreation Program Center located at 64 E. Walnut at 10 a.m., with a youthful cast bringing the tale to life. The play will be green for recycling and green for the beloved Grinch.

For more information on how your youngster can join Candace's cast of characters in 2014 contact Laura Horton at 614-901-6512.
