Performance to raise awareness, funds for anti-violence group

The Westerville South High School Theatre Department will present a one-time performance of Bang Bang You're Dead at 7 p.m. Jan. 10.

Tickets will be available at the door with a "pay-what-you-can" price. Profits will benefit Students Against Violence Everywhere.

Bang Bang You're Dead is a one-act play that centers on a high school student who murdered his parents and five classmates. The play was written, and its performance is encouraged, to raise awareness about the causes of youth violence.

Students Against Violence Everywhere is a student-run group that looks to alleviate crime in schools through crime prevention, conflict management and service projects.
