Westerville: Resident charged with OVI after she crashes her SUV

A Westerville woman was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after she crashed her Honda Pilot into a stopped vehicle at 2:47 p.m. Jan. 20.

According to Westerville Division of Police incident reports, the woman was speeding through the intersection at Woodview and Cherrington roads when she suddenly made a right turn onto Woodview Road.

The woman lost control of her vehicle and struck the rear driver's side of another vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign on Woodview.

No one was injured, but Westerville police responding to the scene found the woman to be intoxicated, reports said.

In recent reports from the Blendon Township Police Department:

• A man stole 39 packages of beef jerky Jan. 21 from a store in the 3000 block of Morse Road.
