Westerville will host its fifth-annual Jukebox Revue, benefitting Honor Flight Columbus, at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 at Westerville North High School, 950 County Line Road.
The Jukebox Revue is a variety-style show featuring musicians, bands, dancers and other entertainers. The host will be local television news anchor Cabot Rea.
Among the performers will be 10-year-old piano prodigy Gavin George, of Granville, who has been featured on CBS's Early Show and NPR's From the Top, and played at top music venues including Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Korean War veteran Robert E. Potts, a broadcast producer and director for 14 years, also will perform. Potts, a former documentarian and 45-year veteran of Vaud-Villities, was a 2013 participant in the Westerville-sponsored Honor Flight.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door, and World War II and Korean War veterans will receive free admission.
Proceeds from the event will benefit this year's community-sponsored Honor Flight, a program that honors World War II and Korean War veterans with a guided tour of the national monuments in Washington, D.C.
The Westerville community has sponsored an Honor Flight each year since 2009. This year's Honor Flight will be the sixth the community has sponsored, meaning funds have been raised to send more than 200 veterans on the trip.
