The 14th annual Westerville Bowl-a-Thon, which benefits the Westerville Chamber Foundation, the Westerville Education Foundation and the Westerville Symphony, will be Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace, 5707 Forest Hills Blvd.
Following a morning executive challenge between local business and community leaders, bowlers will take the lanes from noon to 2:15 p.m. or from 2:15 to 4 p.m.
Bowlers can register as individuals or as teams of five.
The cost of registering is $25 for adults, or $20 for students. The cost includes two games of bowling, shoe rental and an event T-shirt.
Bowlers are encouraged to find sponsors, and those who raise at least $50 per adult, or $25 per student, will receive an entry into the grand-prize drawing for $500.
Additional entries into the drawing will be granted for every $40 raised over the minimum donation.
Corporate sponsorships also are available.
The Westerville Chamber Foundation provides scholarships to local students; the Westerville Education Foundation awards grants to Westerville City Schools teachers and staff for special projects benefitting students; and the nonprofit Westerville Symphony provides music educational, cultural and entertainment activities in the community.
