Science for the whole family at Cherrington

Westerville South senior Kaelyn Buggs helps Cherrington second-grader Connor McNulty conduct an experiment as his father Shaun and sister Colleen look on during Family Science Night Feb. 20, at Cherrington Elementary School. Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) took center stage throughout the building as attendees watched demonstrations and participated in hands-on challenges. Manning activity stations were volunteers from MAD Scientists, NASA, the American Ceramic Society, Westerville South High School, Lakeshore Cryotronics, Bright Path and Dawes Arboretum, as well as Cherrington teachers and staff.
