Jane Austen Favorites

Throughout March, cast your votes for your Jane Austen favorites. Voting includes: favorite Jane Austen novel, favorite Pride and Prejudice book cover and favorite Mr. Darcy in a film adaptation.

* Networking 101, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 27. Resume coach Sharon Hamersley will explain how to build your network strategically and make networking events and social media work for you. Meeting Room B. Registration required.

* What Would Jane Austen Play? Throughout the day Friday, March 28, we'll play games children played in Jane Austen's time: Fox and Geese, Whirligigs and Jacob's Ladder. Ages 6-10.

* Sit and Knit Day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 29. Crafters ages 14 and up who are experienced in crochet, knitting or other fiber arts can share techniques, projects and a potluck lunch. Meeting Rooms. No instruction for beginners will be offered.

* Jane Austen Book Discussion and Craft, 3 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 29. Discuss Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility and create a book necklace. Ages 12 and up. Activity Center. Registration required.

* The Alley Vintage and Costume Store Fashion Show, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 30. Models will wear outfits and accessories from the Regency, Victorian and Edwardian ages. All ages. Meeting Rooms.

* Historical Dance Instruction, 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 30. Whitney Rowlett Senn of Counts to Nine Productions will teach basic steps of Regency Era dancing. All ages welcome, but recommended for age 9 and up. Meeting Rooms.

* Somebody's Watching Me: Drones & Domestic Surveillance, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, March 31. The government and private sector use drones for scientific research, agriculture and military operations. The ACLU will discuss some of the privacy risks associated with drones and how they are being used in Ohio. Meeting Room A. Registration required.

* The Benefit of Learning Together: Creating Inclusive Schools, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 2. Westerville resident Barb McKenzie, author of Reflections of Erin -- The Importance of Belonging, Relationships, and Learning with Each Other will share stories that demonstrate the rich connections and relationships that result from an inclusive learning community.
