Volunteers sought for Hanby House

The Westerville Historical Society is seeking volunteers for the Hanby House historic site.

Hanby House is a United Methodist Heritage Landmark in Westerville. The home of William Hanby, the 15th bishop of the United Brethren Church and a co-founder of Otterbein University, also was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Hanby's oldest son Benjamin was a minister and a composer; his oldest daughter Amanda was an early United Brethren missionary to Africa.
