Westerville City Manager Dave Collinsworth will be the featured speaker at the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon Sept. 9.
Collinsworth will discuss capital projects, upcoming development projects and other special initiatives, the chamber said.
The city has a proposed income tax issue on the Nov. 4 ballot -- a 20-year extension of the 0.25-percent income tax for parks capital improvements. The existing tax was passed in 1998 and is in place through 2020.
Voters will see the proposal as Issue 24 on the fall ballot.
After Collinsworth's presentation, there will be a short question-and-answer session.
The chamber quarterly luncheon will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 2700 Corporate Exchange Drive, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The cost is $25 for chamber members and $35 for potential members.
