Westerville Central High School's Emmanual Appiah will sign a letter of intent Wednesday, Feb. 2, to play men's soccer at Cincinnati.
Appiah, a forward, is Central's all-time leader in games played (77) and career goals (35). His 19 goals last season also were a program best. Appiah was first-team all-OCC-Cardinal Division in leading the Warhawks to a record of 12-6-2, including 4-1-2 in the OCC-Cardinal. The Warhawks' season ended with a 3-2 loss to Gahanna in a Division I regional semifinal.
Cincinnati finished 7-5-7 last year after losing in a semifinal round of the Big East tournament.
