Westerville Central High School senior Carly Morris signed a letter of intent Feb. 1 to play women’s soccer at the University of Findlay, which competes in NCAA Division II.

Morris was the Warhawks’ top defender last fall. She was named first-team all-OCC-Cardinal Division and third-team all-district in Division I.

Central finished 7-10-1 overall, losing to Hilliard Bradley 1-0 in a district semifinal.

The Warhawks were fourth in the OCC-Cardinal at 3-3-1, behind Dublin Jerome (7-0), Dublin Scioto (4-2-1) and Westerville North (3-2-2) and ahead of Olentangy (2-4-1), Olentangy Liberty (2-4-1), Marysville (2-5) and Westerville South (1-4-2).
