The Westerville South High School boys lacrosse program will play host to the first Wildcat Classic Tournament on Friday, March 30, and Saturday, March 31.

The Westerville South High School boys lacrosse program will play host to the first Wildcat Classic Tournament on Friday, March 30, and Saturday, March 31.

It will be a six-team, double-elimination tournament. Each team is guaranteed three games.

Along with South, teams in the tournament are Sylvania Southview, Welland (Ontario) Notre Dame, Aurora (Ontario) St. Andrew's, McMurray (Pa.) Peters Township and Upper St. Clair (Pa.).

The Wildcats will play Peters Township at 5:30 p.m. March 30 and St. Andrew's at 3 p.m. March 31.

The winner of the tournament will receive the Cup Trophy.

"We are hoping to make this a yearly event," South coach Tom Favorito said.
