The Westerville South High School boys volleyball team won its opening match of the Division I East Region tournament, but couldn't get past the top-seeded team.

The Wildcats finished 11-13 after losing to Hilliard Darby 25-12, 25-7, 25-9 in a regional semifinal on May 16. They defeated Thomas Worthington 25-17, 15-25, 26-16, 20-25, 15-6 in the first round May 12.

Westerville North fell to Olentangy Liberty for the third time this season, losing 25-21, 25-19, 25-16 in a regional semifinal May 16 to finish 13-8. The Warriors, who lost to Liberty 25-11, 31-29, 23-25, 25-22 on April 5 and 25-27, 25-21, 25-19, 24-26, 15-9 on April 26 in OCC-Cardinal Division play, opened the tournament with a 25-17, 25-7, 25-14 win over Pickerington North on May 12.

Westerville Central lost to Liberty 25-11, 25-15, 25-14 in the first round of the tournament May 12 to finish 2-14.

In the OCC-Cardinal, Liberty finished first at 10-0, followed by North (7-3), Dublin Scioto (7-3), Dublin Jerome (3-7), South (3-7) and Central (0-10).
