The third-seeded Warhawks are 21-2 and will play 11th-seeded Grove City in a district semifinal at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at Big Walnut. Grove City beat Dublin Scioto 25-17, 30-28, 25-15 to set up the matchup.

Central, which has won 18 in a row, still is attempting to win its first district championship. The Warhawks would advance to their second district final in three seasons with a win over Grove City.

The winner of Central-Grove City will play sixth-seeded Gahanna or 14th-seeded Chillicothe in a district final at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Big Walnut.

The district champion will play Worthington Kilbourne, Pickerington North, Olentangy Liberty or Newark in a regional semifinal at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Hilliard Davidson. The regional final is 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at Davidson.

Seasons end for North, South

North lost to seventh-seeded Olentangy 11-25, 25-22, 25-20, 28-26 on Oct. 17 in the second round of the Division I district tournament to finish 9-12.

The Warriors opened the postseason with a 25-19, 25-12, 25-16 win over Logan on Oct. 15.

South lost its district tournament opener 25-14, 25-10, 20-25, 25-17 on Oct. 15 at Hilliard Darby. The Wildcats finished 8-14.
