The city of Whitehall will unveil a new branding initiative Sept. 18.
The unveiling will occur during Whitehall City Council's regularly scheduled meeting, beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Whitehall City Hall, 360 S. Yearling Road.
The Creative Spot and Whitehall community-affairs coordinator Lindsey Wright will give a presentation of the new brand to members of city council, the administration and the public during the Sept. 18 meeting.
"The community will be able to get a sneak peek of the city's new look," Wright said.
Wright said she and The Creative Spot will unveil marketing material and the city's new logo.
"It will be the first of its kind," Wright said of the logo.
Thus far, the city has used its city seal on all marketing materials. The seal will remain in use for official purposes, but the logo may be incorporated for other uses.
The marketing material will be used in a broad spectrum, including economic development, tourism, recreation and parks, and attracting new residents through the My Home program, Wright said.
Staff from The Creative Spot and Wright will remain after the meeting to answer questions or discuss the initiative further.
