A grand opening for McDonald's, managed by owner-operator Gale Hill, was held recently at 4640 E. Main St. in Whitehall.
The restaurant marks an investment in the community and was designed to create a modern experience that mirrors restaurants that are part of McDonald's national master remodel program. The location reflects McDonald's newest design themes with contemporary decor, a flat screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. It also features a side-by-side drive-through and menu boards with calorie counts.
The opening included visits from Whitehall Mayor Kim Maggard, state Rep. Nancy Garland, students from Today's Child Learning Center and members of the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce. The event was marked by a donation to the East United Methodist Church Food Bank.
