Fast-food worker robbed while making bank deposit

An employee of a fast-food restaurant told Whitehall police she was robbed at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 22 as she made a deposit outside a bank in the 4600 block of East Broad Street.

The woman told police a man wearing a black hooded coat asked her for a cigarette, grabbed a bag from her and pushed her to the ground.

The man took the bag containing $2,218 and ran away, police said.

In other Whitehall Division of Police incident reports:

* Police arrested a 41-year-old man at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 22 for aggravated menacing after he allegedly threatened to shoot another man at a residence in the 4100 block of Mayflower Boulevard.

The alleged victim told police an argument began between his son and the suspect's son, who then pointed a gun at his son and threatened to kill him, according to the report.

* Police arrested a 19-year-old woman at 10 p.m. Sept. 24 for aggravated menacing, domestic violence and criminal damaging at an apartment in the 1000 block of Irongate Lane.

According to police, the 19-year-old woman confronted her aunt for money for watching her aunt's children. The aunt had left the children in the woman's custody so she could go out with her boyfriend, who recently was released from jail, according to the report.

The woman used a knife to cut tires on her aunt's car, lacerating her own wrist while doing so, and threatened her aunt with the knife, police said.

The woman was treated at an area hospital and then transported to the Franklin County jail.

* Police arrested a 16-year-old boy for robbery and a 22-year-old man for complicity to robbery, after the two individuals knocked a 16-year-old boy off his bicycle and took it at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 300 block of South Hamilton Road.

* Police reported a robbery at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 4100 block of Beechlawn Road.

* A burglary was reported at 8:25 a.m. Sept. 19 at a residence in the 3900 block of Andrus Avenue.

* Police reported a burglary at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 19 at an apartment in the 5300 block of Gatehouse Drive.

* A burglary was reported at 12:55 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 200 block of Barkley Place West.

* Police arrested three men, ages 20, 19 and 21, for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business, at 5 p.m. Sept. 19 at a store in the 3600 block of East Main Street.

* Property destruction was reported at 1:50 a.m. Sept. 20 at a residence in the 4500 block of Saint Margaret Lane.

* A theft was reported at 7:05 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 4600 block of San Jose Lane.

* Police reported a burglary at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 20 at an apartment in the 4300 block of East Broad Street.

* Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for possession of drugs, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license and arrested a 19-year-old woman for theft at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 20 at a store in the 3600 block of East Main Street.

* Police responded to a report of shots fired at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 20 at East Main Street and Country Club Drive.

* Police reported a burglary at 11:10 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 200 block of Barkley Place West.

* A theft was reported at 12:55 p.m. Sept. 21 at an apartment in the 5300 block of Gatehouse Drive.

* Property destruction was reported at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 22 in the 4200 block of East Broad Street.

* A theft was reported at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 23 in the first block of Woodcliff Drive.

* Police arrested a 45-year-old man for disorderly conduct at 12:55 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 500 block of Maplewood Avenue.

* A burglary was reported at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 24 in the first block of Parklawn Boulevard.
