Whitehall children will be able to display their version of fall colors Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Halloween Walk, an annual event the Whitehall Community Celebration Association sponsors.

The free event provides an opportunity for children to showcase their Halloween costumes during daylight hours, said Leo Knoblauch, president of the WCCA.

The Halloween Walk will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Etna Road Elementary School.

Infants and children up to age 12 are invited to participate.

"Adults can dress in costume, too," Knoblauch said.

The walk will be contained to the Etna Road Elementary School property and adjacent property.

A photographer will at the event, and refreshments will also be provided at the conclusion of the Halloween Walk.

Beggars Night in Whitehall is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, as recommended by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission for all central Ohio communities.
