Former boyfriend arrested for aggravated menacing

Whitehall police arrested a 24-year-old man for aggravated menacing at 10 p.m. Nov. 12 in connection with an incident in the 1000 block of Dimson Drive East.

Police responded to a report of a "several males standing in front of the residence armed with guns."

A woman at the scene told police her ex-boyfriend and several other males came to her residence and pounded on the door. The woman told police she could see a gun and that her ex-boyfriend had threatened to kill her.

The man and the others left before police arrived. Police found the suspect's vehicle in the 900 block of Rosemore Avenue.

No guns were found inside the vehicle or the residence.

The man was arrested for aggravated menacing. Another man at the scene was arrested for a traffic warrant from Columbus police.

* Police reported a burglary at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at an apartment in the 4600 block of East Main Street.

* Police responded to a report of shots fired at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 10 at an apartment in the 4600 block of East Broad Street. No physical evidence or suspects were identified.

* A vehicle was reported stolen at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 4600 block of East Broad Street.

* Property destruction was reported at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at an apartment in the 4200 block of East Broad Street.

* A vehicle was reported stolen at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 1000 block of Dimson Drive East.

* Police responded to a report of shots fired at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 10 at East Main Street and Bernhard Road.

* Police arrested a 21-year-old man for receiving stolen property at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 4600 block of East Main Street. The man was in possession of a stolen car, according the report.

* A burglary was reported at 4:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at an apartment in the first block of South Hamilton Road.

* Police reported a burglary at 11 a.m. Nov. 12 at a residence in the 300 block of Collingwood Avenue.

* Police reported a burglary at 4:55 a.m. Nov. 13 in the 800 block of South Hamilton Road.

* A burglary was reported at 1 p.m. Nov. 13 at an apartment in the 400 block of South Hamilton Road.

* A breaking-and-entering incident was reported at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 4700 block of East Broad Street.
