A senior citizen told Whitehall police he was robbed at gunpoint at 10:35 p.m. Jan. 18 outside of a business in the 4300 block of East Broad Street.

A senior citizen told Whitehall police he was robbed at gunpoint at 10:35 p.m. Jan. 18 outside of a business in the 4300 block of East Broad Street.

The man told police two men approached him in the parking lot of the business as he was walking his dog.

The men asked if he had $5 and then if he had a phone. After the victim replied "no," one of the men pointed a gun at him, according to reports.

The second man also allegedly brandished a gun and said, "Blast him. If you don't, I will."

The victim described the guns as large, possibly .45-caliber pistols.

The suspects ran away without taking any property, reports said.

Police reportedly observed a stolen vehicle at the residence. A man who answered the door told police no other people were inside, but it was determined a number of juveniles were at the apartment, reports said.

Two of the juveniles were returned to parents or guardians in Columbus. A third was taken to a juvenile detention center.

None of the three juveniles had been reported missing, reports said.

* Police arrested a 21-year-old man at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 18 for receiving stolen property in the first block of South Hamilton Road.

* A 44-year-old man was arrested at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 20 for disorderly conduct in the 4600 block of Morris Avenue.

* Assaults were reported at 11:05 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 4600 block of East Main Street; at 1:05 p.m. Jan. 19 at an apartment in the first block of Fairway Boulevard; at 12:05 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 600 block of Beechwood Road; at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 4600 block of East Broad Street; and at 4:35 p.m. Jan. 22 in the 4300 block of East Main Street.

* Thefts were reported at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in the 4800 block of Langley Avenue; at 11:20 a.m. Jan. 17 in the 200 block of Parklawn Boulevard; at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 300 block of Collingwood Avenue; at 8:25 a.m. Jan. 20 and at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 900 block of Heritage Drive East; at 4:25 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 3900 block of East Broad Street; at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 21 in the 1000 block of Irongate Lane; at 6:05 a.m. Jan. 22 in the 4500 block of East Main Street; at 11:05 a.m. Jan. 22 in the 4700 block of East Broad Street; and at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 23 in the 4200 block of Rickenbacker Avenue.

* Police responded to reports of shots fired at 10:05 p.m. Jan. 16 in the first block of Beechford Road; at 9:45 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 5100 block of Longbranch Drive; and at 9:20 p.m. Jan. 23 in the first block of Maplewood Avenue.

* Property destruction was reported at 9:05 a.m. Jan. 18 in the 4100 block of Rickenbacker Avenue.
