An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the grounds at Worthington Estates Elementary School, 6760 Rieber St., overnight on May 16.

Between Oct. 20, 2007, and May 19, 20-foot sections of copper grounding wire was stolen from 17 field light poles at the ball fields at Perry Park. The loss was valued at $1,400.

Christopher McCoy, 26, of 2260 River Road, Granville, was charged with OVI, possession of drugs and open container after police found him behind the wheel of a vehicle in a parking lot in the 6500 block of Huntley Road on May 19 at 7:21 p.m.

Playground equipment at Indianola Park was defaced with a marker between May 13 and 19.

On May 17 or 18 in the 2200 block of West Granville Road, two chain saws were stolen from a truck. An attempt was made to steal the truck by hot wiring the ignition.

Eric Anderson, 22, of 1683 Scottsdale Ave., Columbus, was charged with OVI after he was stopped on Linworth Road on May 12 at 3:07 a.m.

A resident of the 2500 block of Riverside Drive reported that he came home on May 11 at 5:45 p.m. to find the door kicked in. A computer and a camera were stolen.

Nicholas Dibenedetto, 26, of 513 E. Rich St., Columbus, was charged with OVI, failure to control, and resisting arrest after he allegedly ran his vehicle into a pole on West Dublin-Granville Road on May 11 at 2:51 a.m.

Between 8:40 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. May 19, in the 2200 block of Worthington Woods: A man reported someone broke into his home and stole a $1,500 television.

Between 8:30 p.m. May 20 and 3:47 a.m. May 21, in the 200 block of Oak Street: A worker reported someone pried open a $500 steel door at a business. No loss was reported.

5:10 p.m. May 19, Bent Tree at Federated boulevards: Police charged John M. Gaus, 60, of 8585 Renford Court, Powell, with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

10:30 a.m. May 20, in the 2200 block of Teardrop Avenue: A woman reported she has been the victim of identity theft. Someone has opened an account with AT&T in her name.

3:15 p.m. May 19, in the 1400 block of Worthington Woods Boulevard: A man reported a contractor repaired his roof but won't send him a bill. Instead, he said, the man calls him saying he wants to meet with him and makes threats when he refuses to do so.

6 p.m. May 22, in the 7300 block of Coral Springs: A man reported someone shot at his house with BBs.

6:26 p.m. May 20, in the 7800 block of Arrow Root Court: A woman reported she has reason to believe, from references made, that someone has accessed her e-mail account and is reading them and her journal.

Thefts from or vandalism to autos were reported from: the 8600 block of Seabright Drive, the 1800 block of Worthington Run Drive and the 2200 and 5300 blocks of Portland Street.

Between 6 and 7:30 p.m. May 19, in the 1000 block of Polaris Parkway: A man reported he locked his FBI badge and credentials in a locker room and when he returned they were gone, as was the lock.

Between 8 and 8:30 p.m. May 16, in the 1400 block of Polaris Parkway: A woman reported someone broke into her car and stole her overnight bag, laptop, clothing and other items.

Between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. May 21, in the 1400 block of Polaris Parkway: A man reported the theft of $4,000 from his work vehicle.
