Congratulations to the members of the 2008 Worthington Kilbourne High School baccalaureate committee for planning an exceptional program, which took place May 30 at the St. Joan of Arc church.

Serving on this year's committee: Kara Stull, program director and program and invitation design; Holly Lynch, entertainment coordinator; Chris Rayis, Eric Snyder, Nick Beattie, Keegan Hazen, Colleen Wynne and Luke Harris. These students are to be commended for having the dedication and commitment necessary to plan this well-received program.

The committee presented a program that included readings, poetry, a video, instrumentals, duets, vocal solos and performances by Acafellas and Encore. The program also included a memorable tribute to Dan Silcott.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Gene Folden, who delivered a motivational speech to the senior class, and to Jim Palmer, who spoke to the students on behalf of the parents.

A thank you goes to Phil Bunting, who finished running in the regional track meet and arrived in time to participate. Special thanks to Nick Beattie, who stepped in for Eric Snyder, who was also running in the meet and was not able to participate in the baccalaureate program.

Special thanks to Larry Griffin, for his assistance with the arrangement of "Come to the Water," and Lisa Mullen, who assisted with the senior video.

Thanks to the WHKS Activity Club and the following members of the baccalaureate program and reception committee: Debbie Campbell, Paula Haldeman, Lori Reiter, Pat Kelso, Gina Stull and Jan Blum. Thank you for the many volunteer hours and support for this event.

Thank you to the junior class ushers, Amy Davidson, Grant Haldeman, Harrison Hale, Sarah Hanson, Sachi Oshima, Kendyl Reed and Drew Reiter.

Thank you to St. Joan of Arc church, Deacon Gil and staff for hosting this event, and SOS Printing and Graphics for the program.
