Parent-child dynamics will be the topic of a Leadership Worthington (LW) community dialogue session Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Worthington Education Center, 200 E. Wilson Bridge Road.

The Going Beyond the Surface of Leadership programs are free and open to the public.

Ted Sun, LW adult program teacher, will lead the program titled "Parent/Child Dynamics: Are You Leading or Managing?"

An information session about LW will be held prior to the program, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Anyone interested in learning more about enrolling in the 2008-09 adult class program is welcome to attend. Classes begin Sept. 18.

The annual St. Michael Church festival will be held this weekend, with games and food for the whole family.

Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday and 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Attractions include raffles, casino games, garage sale booth, midway rides and games, silent auction and corn hole tournaments.

Food includes sweet corn, brats, pizza, French fries, meatball sandwiches and home-baked goods.

On Saturday from 6 to 8, a sit-down dinner will be catered by Caffe Daniella. The menu includes chicken picatta, pasta marinara, salad, roll, and drink. The price is $8.

In Full Swing will entertain Friday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.; the Sing Along Band Saturday from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.; Arnett Howard's Band Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m.; Cappriccio Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m.; and Ray Mass's Eurorhythms Sunday from 8 to 11 p.m.

Worthington Christian Church will resume its Wednesday program of dinner and classes starting Sept. 3.

Dinner is served at 6 p.m. Cost is $3 per person with a $10 per family maximum.

Classes for children and adults are offered from 7 to 8 p.m.

Rehearsal sessions for the Adult Choir are also held at 7 p.m.

The church is at 8145 N. High St.

High Road Gallery will display the 2008 Metro Parks Photo Exhibit in September.

Ohio photographers were invited to submit recent photos taken in any of the 15 metro parks. Prizes will be awarded by judges Bryan Knowles, Andrew Boose and Donna Flynn, all parks staff members.

Both exhibits will be displayed from Sept. 3-27. An artists' reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7. Prizes will be awarded at the reception.
