A resident of the 200 block of East North Street reported that his neighbor's son was shooting a pellet gun at his fence on Aug. 21 at 11 a.m.

A 19-year-old man was arrested in Perry Park on Aug. 20 at 12:46 a.m. He was charged with criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Overnight on Aug. 18, someone broke into Roush Worthington Lawn Mower, 430 Schrock Road. Entry was made by breaking a window. Power tools were stolen. The loss was estimated at $2,006.

A Plymouth Voyager van was stolen from a driveway in the 400 block of Highgate Avenue on Aug. 18 between 5 and 7 p.m.

Two bicycles were stolen from a carport of a residence in the 400 block of Colonial Avenue overnight on Aug. 10.

A moped valued at $670 was stolen from the lot of a business in the 400 block of Schrock Road overnight on Aug. 9.

A resident of the 300 block of East New England Avenue reported that between July 2 and Aug. 17, a neighbor allowed his dog to enter his yard, where it attacked a chicken.

3:04 p.m. Aug 19, Smoky Row at Hard roads: Police arrested a man who had four knives, a pair of brass knuckles and two containers holding marijuana in his auto. They charged him with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse. Court records show he was found guilty of the first count and the last two counts were dismissed.

1:49 p.m. Aug. 20, Huntington Bank, 7744 Sawmill Road: Police reported a robber stole cash and ran north into a nearby apartment complex.

Aug. 17, Kmart, 5005 Olentangy River Road: Police charged two men with a count each of robbery.

Between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18 and 1:15 a.m. Aug. 19, in the 600 block of Alta View Court: A man reported an intruder broke into his residence and stole a flat screen television and a computer and monitor.

Noon Aug. 13, in the 1800 block of Loch Ness Avenue: A man reported someone is using his credit-card number to purchase items on the Internet.

Aug. 14, Sawmill Village Drive: Police charged a teen with underage consumption of alcohol.

3:46 p.m. Aug. 20, Hayden Run at Dublin roads: A man reported he was helping a friend -- a woman who had run out of gasoline there. The woman's ex-boyfriend saw them, stopped and hit him, he said.

8:43 p.m. Aug. 20, in the 7400 block of Chaparral Road: A woman reported she has received 12 to 15 calls from a man who said he was with Columbus police and wanted donations. Police told her they do not solicit money and called the return number of the caller. They got a message saying he was soliciting donations for police.

10:15 p.m. Aug. 21, in the 7800 block of Stoneford Drive: A woman reported someone removed mail from her mailbox, opened it and threw it around her yard. The resident said she thinks some of the mail might be missing.
