Shawnee History and Culture: A Lecture, sponsored by the Worthington Historical Society, 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Griswold Center, 777 High St. Experience Native American spirituality, pre-history and history through the eyes of the Shawnee Indian. Dr. Asma Mobin-Uddin will present, "Standing for What is Right: A Responsibility of Faith and Leadership." Dr. Jeff De Yoe of the Worthington Presbyterian Church will lead the breakfast audience in prayer. Readings from holy books of the Hebrew, Christian and Islamic faiths will also be shared. Foods for all religious faiths will be offered, and the program will follow. The public is welcome.
