The first meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27. Those attending can bring their own knitting project, or knit Warm Up Worthington blocks, and talk about Anne Bartlett's book, "Knitting." During Warm Up Worthington, the public is encouraged to knit or crochet 7- by 9-inch blocks, which are joined together to form afghans. The blankets are donated to organizations that help people in need.
