The Board elected Steven Stirn to serve as president and Rocco Nero as vice president for the 2009-10 school year, beginning Aug. 1. The Board voted to extend the contract with Akron Firestone Stadium to be the site for the softball finals, making the terms 10 years, which begins in 2008. The Board approved a one-year extension for Huntington Park to be the site for the state baseball tournament in 2010.
