St. Michael Church, 5750 N. High St., will host its annual parish festival Sept. 4-6.

St. Michael Church, 5750 N. High St., will host its annual parish festival Sept. 4-6.

Festival hours are 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Festival highlights include a midway with games and rides, silent auction, cash raffle, casino and garage sale booth. Entertainers include Ray Massa's Eurorhythms, Arnett Howard's Band and Beatles tribute band Stockwood.

A variety of food vendors will be on site, offering slow-roasted sweet corn, Italian sausage, pizza, French fries and home-baked goods. From 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, the Great American Picnic will be held. For $8, guests can enjoy fried chicken, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, beverages and strawberry shortcake.

Patrons can receive free tokens for games and rides by donating canned food items. One token will be given for each food item donated, up to 20 tokens per family. All food will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society food pantry.

Admission and parking are free. Event proceeds will support St. Michael Church, and its organizations and outreach programs.
