Several Worthington residents will participate in upcoming fall concerts by youth ensembles of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

Shahana Prakash, Heather Wang, Helen Chen, Da-Yeon Chung, Conor Lemmon, Jimmie White, Brendan Lau, Liam Bacon and David DePoy will be among those participating in the Columbus Symphony Cadet Orchestra fall concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in Mees Auditorium at Capital University.

The Cadet Orchestra is comprised of students in grades 7-10 and performs some unabridged classical works, some arranged for student orchestra and some pieces from the popular/film genre.

Justin Jiang, Taylor Klass, Rachel Nguyen, Akiva Walum-Roberts, Kevin Liu and Lily Fang will be among those participating in the Columbus Symphony Chamber Strings Orchestra fall concert at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Hughes Auditorium at Ohio State University.

The Chamber Strings Orchestra, an education program of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, is comprised of talented string players in grades 6-9. This ensemble benefits from a symbiotic relationship with Ohio State's School of Music students and the middle school-age members.
